The PositionAccounting Expert
Our clientOur client is a prestigious life insurance company with a branch in Luxembourg.
Your role·Participate in periodical closing of the insurance entities of the Group,
·Contribute actively to the production of regular accounting closing files,
·Take part in design and implementation of financial controls,
·Participate actively in product development and development /maintenance of automated posting rules for technical insurance accounting,
·Technical expertise on the Group's Policy Administration/Unit Administration and Accounting systems on behalf of Finance.
·Initiate and/or be part of the drive as technical expert to accounting simplifications and accounting system migrations,
·Participate and/or lead when necessary in ad hoc projects and management requests,
·Liaise with external and internal audit, production of documentation and evidence in his/her area of responsibility,
·Maintain internal rules (policies / procedures / work instructions), up to date in his/her area of responsibility.
Your Technical Skills·Master Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance,  
·Strong technical accounting background (+5y. technical accounting in life insurance),
·Accounting consolidation experience and expertise,
·Experience in management is an advantage,
·Experience about CAA reporting,
·Experience about accounting migration projects & harmonization of accounting plan would be a strong advantage,
·Knowledge about Solvency 2 is a strong advantage,
·Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)

·Capable of working independently as well as within a team,
·Able to manage tight deadlines,
·Proactive, flexible, eager to learn and attentive to details,
