The PositionInternational Internal Auditor
 
Our clientOur client is an international Anglo-Saxon insurance company newly established in Luxembourg.
 
Your role- This position performs complex financial and operational audits for designated areas of the companys businesses to ensure the soundness and adequacy of controls in compliance with policies and procedures as well as all applicable regulations.
- Solve unique and complex audits that have a broad impact on the function.
- Contribute to the development of the functional strategy; may lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
- Maintain the relationship with local senior management and external auditors and occasionally deputize for audit management with respect to interactions with the audit committee and regulators.
 
Your Technical Skills- Bachelor/University Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field required.
- Professional designation (e.g. CPA, CA, CIA) required.
- 10+ years of experience in related field.
- Audit experience within a multinational organization.
- Knowledge of the following:
Internal audit practices and methodology.
Solvency II.
COSO 2013 framework.
Risk management.
- Having broad expertise or unique knowledge; develops advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.
- Viewed as an expert in the field with the company.
- Business savvy and understanding the impact of audit on the global business processes.
- English and French required. German is a plus as an additional language.
 
Your Personal SkillsExcellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and influence skills to manage relationship with external auditor and business partners; confidence to interact with senior management.
