The PositionInvestment Compliance Expert
Our clientOur client is one of the leading life-insurance firm in Luxembourg.
Your role Manage daily the investment controls workflow reviewing eligibility of assets, classifying investments, creating and maintaining records in accordance with legal and CAA regulations.
Perform pre-compliance checks of new portfolio investments in accordance with applicable regulations.
Review governing documents such as Policy Directives, Fund Prospectuses and Subscription Agreements identifying and resolving interpretive issues while ensuring CAA regulatory compliance.
Develop a library and expert understanding of a broad range of fund regulatory requirements, UCITs, RAIF, SIF and SOPARFI etc., to provide confident opinion and guidance to Sales, Partners and Internal clients.
Regularly produce portfolio investment breach reports, identifying root causes and taking action to resolve non-compliant issues with external asset managers.
Review internal assessment of investment strategies and their compliance with the client risk profile.
Prepare Solvency II & PRIPs data files for delivery to Actuary & Finance.
Your Technical Skills Bachelor degree in finance, economics or management.
3+ years investment controls experience within life assurance or similarly within asset management.
Knowledgeable of Fund Accounting/Compliance Framework processes/standards.
Good technical abilities to maintain and enhance investment rules, strategies and investor profiles within systems.
Good knowledge in a financial information system such as Telekurs.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of MS Office VBA would be an asset.
Fluent in English and French, any other language is an advantage.
