The PositionCompliance Role: FCC Monitoring & Testing Manager (M/F) 1-year Fixed-term contract
 
Our clientOur client is a global banking group based in Luxembourg. Its Financial Crime and Compliance function supports the various business entities in Luxembourg
 
Your role- Supporting the Luxembourg FCC Team and reporting to the FCC M&T manager, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of all Compliance Monitoring activities with regards to the various business lines (Private Banking, Securities Services, Asset Management and Commercial banking).
- Ensure local monitoring activities are in accordance with Global monitoring policies and conducted as a second line of defence.
- Ensure monitoring activities remain independent. Liaise with other departments/functions, as well as FCC colleagues, in relation to compliance monitoring tasks. Annual completion of Compliance Risk Assessments for all business lines with support of LoB FCC SMEs - to reflect changes in business strategy, structure or regulatory environment. Business and FCC advisory teams to be engaged in process.
- Driving and conducting FCC monitoring reviews with support from Regional and Local FCC colleagues. Drafting of review reports and formulating of recommendations (ensuring Issues raised and Action plans are consistent with the Groups risk appetite, sufficiently mitigate risk and are cost effective).
 
Your Technical Skills- Good understanding and experience of compliance and/or Financial Crime regulations.
- Understanding of the activities of relevant business lines and associated compliance risks.
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree in business, law, accountancy or related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Compliance monitoring or external audit with a focus on Compliance.
- Understanding of FCC requirements and risk-based monitoring techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel;
- Awareness of good risk management and governance frameworks including 3 lines of defence criteria;
- Ability to foster relationships whilst providing adequate challenge and effecting change;
- Fluency in English required, French and/or another European language is an asset.
