The PositionDirector - Client Operations
 
Our clientOur client is an international banking actor specializing in asset services, custody, payments and treasury services for financial and other institutional investors worldwide.
 
Your roleAs Director, Client Operations, you will be a single, senior operational point of contact for our partner clients mainly at C-Suite level. You will be responsible for the overall unconditional client service and ensuring the banks activities across all geographies and manufacturing locations are delivered to clients needs.

What will you do?

- Evaluate the requirements for an end to end operating model process and risk review and ensure execution of plan
- Review the control environment and quality of procedures and client documentation in place. Amend/improve as necessary
- Review historical E&O statistics to establish patterns, key areas of focus and challenge.
- Identify all non-standard activities and establish a program of work to improve/automate/simplify/stop these activities in conjunction with the client. Delivery measurable efficiencies to the benefit of both organizations.
- Implement an appropriate governance model and escalation protocol with your allocated client(s) and fitting with your clients requirements.
- Review, agree and implement any new designated authorities and decision rights
- Implement enhanced KPIs and reporting for Partner clients
- Implement activity/issue logs, change logs and on-boarding logs for effective day to day management of all client activity in order to develop Strategic case management solution
- Annual detailed cost base and FTE analysis including efficiency measures.
- Detailed review of existing technology and connectivity including levels of use by the client.
- Complete a full talent assessment of client team and identify skills gaps, expertise and knowledge gaps, re-alignment of resources for greater impact, right people right roles with an overall view of best in class client service.
- Align with the clients executive and senior management levels (c-suite decision makers)
- Proactively recognize and address various items representing a relationship threat beyond the standard visible items
- Ensure your clients requirements are understood within the bank . Build connectivity with Product and IT in particular for the alignment of strategy with our clients and the execution of change as a differentiator.
- Set the benchmark for client service with your client so the bank is their reference point
- Proactively engage clients with regulatory and market changes and their implications on our clients and their interactions with the bank
- Translate client requirements for Operations and other functions in the organization
 
Your Technical Skills- Very detailed operational knowledge in the investment fund industry and especially in PE/RE
- In-depth technical expertise, ability to design operating models end to end and business drivers
- Over 10 years of experiences
- Superior client facing skills at C-Suite level
 
Your Personnal Skills- Leadership, Analytical Thinking, Process Engineering
- Creative mindset in a secured regulatory environment, long term forward thinking
- Strong management skills, virtual management, driving high performance in the client teams
